Is Trakli really free?
Yes. Self-hosting is free forever and always will be, because the code is open-source. The Cloud Free plan is free too. Plus is the paid tier that adds the AI-powered importer, a bigger AI allowance, unlimited device sync, and priority support.
What does "bring your own keys" mean?
The agent talks to a language-model provider. If you self-host, you plug in your own provider key, so you pay the provider directly and we never see your data or your bill.
Do you sell my financial data?
No. Never. Your data is yours: encrypted, owner-scoped, and on the Cloud Free and self-host paths it is not used to train anything. Open code means you can verify that.
Can I move between self-host and cloud?
Yes. It is the same app and the same API. Export from one, import to the other, or run both and sync.
